Members of the armed forces face many challenges while serving their country, but many also face challenges when they return home. Veterans with combat-related PTSD can struggle to find peace and purpose, and often find that re-acclimating to civilian life isn’t easy. This is why Matt Weitz, a combat veteran and Adam Keith, a dog trainer and local business owner, teamed up to help veterans find purpose and connection through their interactions with rescued shelter dogs and each other.
