The Parra family came to the United States with a dream of a better future. Maria brought her love of cooking and business experience to the Tennessee Valley, and her son, Jorge, helped her turn Taqueria Jalisco into a successful venture. Now, their restaurants are a cherished part of the Chattanooga community. In addition to the appreciation from repeat customers, Jorge was named the YPAC “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2015.
